***AZBFN Urgent Update
28/07/10 14:18
Federation Members, the AZBFN is about to begin its
fall season with the first date of importance being
August 4th, 7pm at
Cabelas. We will hold our monthly State meeting at this
time. It is important that your club be represented at
this meeting as well as the September-November meetings
as this is the time of year where you can propose any
new rule or bylaw changes and it is election time as
well. As I mentioned in a previous update I am not
seeking re-election so have your nominations ready for
the October meeting. We will vote for any challenged
seats in November. If you have any issues or changes
you wish to propose, please read the following exert
from our Bylaws.
It Amendment Procedure: Amendments to this document may be made by the following procedure:
Proposed amendments or changes must be submitted in writing to an elected official.
The proposed amendment changes will be brought up at the September club meeting.
At the October meeting the membership present will vote on whether to approve or decline the proposed amendment changes. A majority vote of members present is sufficient to approve the amendment changes.
Amendments take effect on the prior to the first and last tournament of that season.
is also election time. As my last update to you stated there will be a vacancy at President for sure as I am not wishing to seek re-election. Presidential nominees as well as anyone seeking a board position need to be nominated
We will also be announcing the tentative 2011 schedule at this meeting and going over the regular list of reports. Take care and hope to see you August 4th,
Kip Pollay AZBFN State President
