AZBFN will host a Veterans Big Bass Bragging rights tournament for a group of traveling vets Bartlett lake Please contact Kip or Mike Hoffarth for details? More boaters needed. Let’s make this an outstanding event. Bashas Supermarket Donated food

B. AZBFN ‘S is under way summer open series for all members, San Carlos is in the books good turn out but lets all enjoy the next Rosie night event

Please pre pay to eliminate hassle, Fisherman/ fisherwoman who pay at ramp will be first come first serve basis.
There will be no pairings for these events; members must come paired as teams

For all qualifying events please get monies in to Don Sebastion as soon as possible. Also, remember to pair up with non-boaters before hand to keep the last minute confusion to a minimum. If you aren’t paired up please call Don to help you find a pairing.

Youth Report:
A. Peoria Reel Family Fishing Day was a great success for the Federation. Joined forces with AZGFD and Cabelas to help over 70 families try there luck at Rio Vista Lake.
Seminars held to teach many aspects of fishing. Educated and helped kids catch fish.
B. Any Bass Clubs interested in building a youth club should contact Jeff Foley or Lyle Danuser via the federation web site. Youth clubs are welcomed and we would love to have as many Bass fishing kids as we could
C. AZBFN will be hosting four Cabelas Hot Summer Nights Tournaments. These are family friendly fishing events to be held at four different urban lakes.
These events will be kicked off with a seminar held at Cabelas the Thursday day night prior to the event.
To cover lake, stockings, fish tactics used to catch the species in the lakes.
Proper fish handling. Open forum on events with question and answer session.
