MEETING NOTES
7/10/07

CALL TO ORDER:
7:00 PM by Vice-President Jeff Mayes
 
INTRODUCTIONS:
3 Board Members, 5 clubs represented, Tucson Bass is considering joining our organization.
 
SECRETARY REPORT:
Secretary not in attendance, visit website for June meeting minutes.


TREASURER REPORT: 
Treasurer report and balance statement was distributed to all members in attendance.


TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR REPORT:
Qualifier #3 will be October 20th, 2007 at Lake Pleasant. This date was revised due to a conflict with the club championship finals.

CONSERVATION REPORT:
Roundtable at Mesa office of Game and Fish will be held on July 23rd at 7:00pm. Clubs are asked to send at least one member to this roundtable and voice your opinion on issues discussed. We have $1,000 in the account for future conservation efforts. The Fed Nation is looking for ideas to use the $1,000.


YOUTH REPORT:
Cabela’s Casting Kids on June 16th & 17th was a huge success, approximately 100 kids participated. Planning Casting Kids state finals and Jr. Bassmasters Finals in September. We will notify clubs when the dates are confirmed and we will be needing help from our membership for these events.


OLD BUSINESS:
The board will be discussing 2008 tournament schedule and Budget including the purchase of a trailer and miscellaneous equipment to better suit our needs at tournaments.


NEW BUSINESS:

The Triton boat has been sold and we expect the new owner to receive the boat a the end of August, we should receive our $4,000 balance soon after.

We need to start discussing future funding for state team and Jr. Bassmaster Clubs.
Bylaw revisions will be discussed next meeting and voted on in Octover or November.

Ken Hurd has volunteered to head-up a banquet committee. The revenues from this will directly support future state team expenses.

Thanks Next meeting tentatively set for August 7, 7:00pm at Ironworks located at 17233 N. 45th Ave. *Keep in mind all clubs are requested to have one member in attendance.
