Discount if you pay in advance for all three
tournaments
For all qualifying events please get monies in to Don
Sebastion as soon as possible. Also, remember to pair
up with non-boaters before hand to keep the last
minute confusion to a minimum. If you aren’t paired
up please call Don to help you find a pairing.

Conservation Report:
a. Bill
Luke Big Bass Days was a success for the federation,
thanks to Don McDowell, Mike Hoffarth, Otto Gal, Mr.
& Mrs. Noble, Jack Collins, and Jerry Tate
b. AZBFN members collected, filleted and properly
disposed of the stripers and white bass weighted in
during the BLBBD event at Lake Pleasant. The fish
remains and carcasses were transported to Sandy Cate,
AZGFD, and Adobe Mountain Wildlife Rescue &
Rehabilitation Center to feed the birds of prey,
raccoons, opossum and various other animals under her
care.
c. AZBFN received a very heartfelt Thank You from
Sandy and from Kim Carter, General Manager, Bill Luke
Chrysler Jeep and Dodge
d. Lake Pleasant Scorpion Bay Marina is now open for
business. The marina is ecologically friendly to our
sport fish by creating some 25 acres of fish habitat
as overseen by our folks at AZGFD.
e. The Forrest Service is closing areas on our
fishing waters and we need to come together as an
organization to stand up for our rights as fishermen.
Please send emails to them expressing your thoughts
and concerns about closing areas.

Business:
a. Triton
boat is still for sale; please contact any board
members for purchase. Boat is available to be built
to your specifications. This is a ½ price deal on a
new boat!

Washington for divisional
