The TAZ Jr. BASS club, with the help of several Federation Nation members, held a fishing tournament at the privately owned lake; the Oasis. Larissa-Ann Gaines was the top finisher in the Panfish Division weighing in 5 bass for 5.77 lbs.
The Smallmouth Division winner was Travis Pollay who brought 5 fish to the scales weighing in at 6.38 lbs., and the Largemouth Division winner was Canio Hoffarth whose 5 fish weighed 6.97 lbs. The Big Fish Award went to Mary Foley who caught a 2.66 lb. largemouth on a dropshot rig.

The Arizona BASS Federation Nation, with help from Cabela's and federation members, conducted a Casting Kids event this past Father's Day weekend to promote the sport of bass fishing to youngsters. Over a hundred kids took part in the event and 8 qualifier from the 4 events over the weekend will go on to the state finals. As you all know The AZ BASS Federation Nation held 4 Casting Kids at the Glendale Cabela's. I would like to give my sincere thanks and appreciation to all those that were able to come out and help. I would like to thank Jeff Mayes for helping pull help together.
