MEETING NOTES

CALL TO ORDER:
 7:00 PM by President Kip Pollay
 
INTRODUCTIONS:
5 Board Members, 12 Attendees (6 clubs represented)
 
SECRETARY REPORT:
Get updated club rosters to Secretary ASAP
 
TREASURER REPORT: 
Mike distributed a treasurer report and balance statement to all members present.
 
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR REPORT:
Our next tournament will be held on Saturday Apr. 21st at Fishers Alamo Lake.  The registration will be at the ramada at campground A (ranger station side) from 05:00 to 07:00 Friday the 20th with the draw to follow. We will be launching from the ramp by the ranger station also. The weigh-in will be held on the
shore by the ramp.
 
It was brought up to hold some kind of club tournament(s) as a fundraiser for the BCWC divisionals. All members are asked to think of possible ideas and email them to Kip.
 
CONSERVATION REPORT:
Received $1,000 from B.A.S.S. to purchase conservation product(s).
 
YOUTH REPORT:
Any and all clubs wishing to hold a kids event this year please contact Jeff Foley. National Casting Kids Semi finals moved to Nov. of each year. This means state finals need to be completed by 1 Sep. all local events need to be held prior 1 Aug. of each year. There are two events currently scheduled. April 15th at the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Tucson from 11-3, and at Tempe Marine on May 20th from 1-4.
There is a new Junior BASS club sponsored by the Valley Bass Club, they are know as Team Arizona Jr. Bass Club (TAZ)
 
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
The boat purchase fell thru, it is still available contact Kip for more info.
There were three estimate brought in for a trailer for the FN. The discussion was tabled to the May meeting for further discussion.
It was also brought up and tabled that the Oct. Qualifier at Lake Pleasant, will have to be moved due to members that qualified for the BCWC Finals will be traveling to the tournament it would miss the qualifier.
 
NEXT MEETING: May 1st, 7:00 PM (please come at 6:00 PM for dinner) at the Ironworks 17233 N. 45th Ave. - off Bell Road just past the tennis courts on your right).  All interested parties are welcome.
